Production

ILKYAZ ÖZEL collaborates with a network of skilled manufacturers and artisans whose expertise has been refined over generations.

Ready-to-wear is crafted exclusively in the house’s own ateliers in Istanbul. Bags and accessories are produced primarily by specialist makers in Italy, alongside selected local artisans in Istanbul, each chosen for their mastery of a particular technique or material. These long-term partnerships support consistency and quality across every collection.

Craft

Craft at ILKYAZ ÖZEL is defined by proportion, construction, fit, and embellishment.

Each piece is developed through a considered process that brings together handwork, technical precision, and material sensitivity. Drawing on the craft traditions of Anatolia, the house finds inspiration in centuries of expertise in embroidery, metalwork, stone setting, and artisanal ornamentation, reinterpreting these references through a contemporary and restrained design language.

Embellished elements, including hand-set stones, metal details, and decorative finishes, are conceived as an integral part of the garment rather than applied decoration. Every element is developed to complement the structure, movement, and proportion of each silhouette.

Depending on the requirements of the design, these processes are carried out within the house's own atelier and in collaboration with specialist artisans selected for their mastery of particular techniques. This approach allows every piece to be developed with the precision, balance, and clarity it requires.
